N K Sharma MLA from Derabassi on Friday flagged off 2 buses from Zirakpur to Sri Amritsar Sahib under Mukh Mantri Tirath Darshan Yatra schme. On this occasion Sharma told that Punjab Government allotted five buses for Mohali district for this Yatra. Two buses are allotted for Derabassi. All the expenditure of this Yatra will be bore by the state government.
Sharma further said that earlier, the devotees were benefitted by the free of cost rail travel to the Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib apart from a large number also visiting Ajmer Sharif and Varanasi. Now, under the second phase, the devotees are being taken to religious places like-Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Virasat-e-Khalsa, Sri Salasar Balaji Dham and Mata Chintpurni. He said that there is excellent feedback regarding this scheme and people are very happy at this initiative of SAD-BJP government.
Deputy Commisioner Mohali D S Mangat said that administration have done all the arrangements for Mukh Mantri Tirath Darshan Yatra commuters. These buses will departure daily at 7 am for Golden Temple and will arrival back in the evening.
