Ludhiana: Bal Bharati Public School aims to nurture morally and ethically sound and socially adaptable students. Modern world that is more like a global village expects its citizens to be broad in their thinking, tolerant and helpful in their approach, having an ability to accept their global brothers as they are.
Earlier, the school received ISA 2013-16. This year school has again executed the ISA Action Plan approved by British Council enthusiastically and diligently and after completing three online collaborative activities and four in-house activities successfully, the school has bagged ‘International School Award 2016-19’.
During the year the main focus was on international collaborative activities like ‘Yummy Tummy Mummy’ (with New Zealand), Peace-Major Global Concern’(with Thailand) and ‘Scintillating Stars’(with U.S.A.) which gave the students, teachers and parents an opportunity to widen their vistas of creativity on one hand and learn the art of international interaction on the other.
During the online activity ‘Women Empowering World’ in order to create awareness and respect for the contribution of the women to society among masses, the students created a blog wherein they uploaded the bio-sketches of great women of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
Besides the above mentioned activities the students participated in various in-house activities like ‘Mesmerising Artefacts’, ‘Flora Fauna Wow’ and ‘Math-e-Tact to Architect’.
