Dal Khalsa lauds the consistent efforts of Sikh Federation UK to generate the moral support for right to self determination movement at international level and exposing the Indian atrocities against struggling minorities and oppressed peoples.
Dal Khalsa president Harpal Singh Cheema and another senior leader H S Dhami said to commemorate its foundation day the Sikh Federation was organizing the conference on Sep 18 at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara, Wolverhampton in UK to discuss and chalk out a strategy in order to put new life in the fight for right to self determination as per international norms and treaties.
They asked the people from Europe and UK to participate in the conference and be part of the discussion. Stating that Sikhs have been passing through a critical phase, they hoped that the conference will draw the attention of the World powers especially UK government towards the dismal plight of the Sikhs in Punjab and India.
They said the Sikh Federation was always on the forefront in UK and elsewhere to reach out to international community to present the Sikh case for independence.
Dal Khalsa leaders urged the organizers of the conference to apprise the international audience and the key speakers about the worst human rights conditions in India especially Punjab and Kashmir, where minorities are subjected to state brutalities.
