Mohali: A new building of District Administrative Complex is ready to welcome various government offices of Mohali district. Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal will inaugurate the new administrative complex today.
Deputy Commissioner, DS Mangat visited the new complex and reviewed the functioning of provisions for the opening ceremony. Mangat was accompanied by SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, ADC Amandeep Kaur, ADC (Development) Bhupinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner (General) Avneet Kaur and district Officers of various concerned departments.
New District Administrative Complex is located in sector 76. The complex has come up over an area of seven acres and has a total covered area of 4.20 lakh square feet. Complex is equipped with all modern facilities and cost of constructing new administrative complex stands at Rs 110.57 crore.
One basement and five floors are ready for shifting various government offices in the complex. Other than basement parking over 200 vehicles can be parked outside administrative complex.
