Patiala: A 33-year-old driver was found dead from a house in the Deep Nagar locality here on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Jaspal Singh son of Darbara Singh, a resident of the Dhamomajra locality situated near to the Railway crossing no. 24.
It’s learnt that owner of the house from where the body of Jaspal Singh was found by the police is that of a woman. The deceased went to the house where he used to reside on Wednesday night. The police said that the he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and committed suicide. The police are still not found the cause of the death. As soon as the owner of the house came to know about the incident on Thursday morning, she at once informed the police. After getting information the police team headed by Superintendent of Police (D), Harwinder Singh Virk, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP-City-2) Ramandeep Singh Bhullar, Station House Officer of the Tripuri Police Station, Inspector, Shaminder Singh reached the spot of crime along with a team of finger print experts.
When contacted Tripuri Police Station SHO Shaminder Singh said that he saw blood had oozed out of the deceased’s nose. He said that after completing the legal formalities and lifting the finger prints from the spot of crime, the dead body has been sent to the Government Rajindra Hospital for autopsy. DP
