Ludhiana: Palak Narang of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy excelled at a National level Essay and Painting competition, under the patronage of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gases. It is an initiative of the Government of India to provide an outlet to the creative urge of the students and make them sensitive regarding the sustainable use of resources available.
Palak Narang (VIII) won first prize in Hindi Essay writing competition on the topic “Conservation of the natural resources”. The principal of the school Jaskiran Kaur appreciated the winner for her achievement. President of the school Harminder Singh and Director Navjot Singh congratulated the winner and exhorted others to replicate it in future.
