Member of Aam Admi Party Mohali who was recently claimant of AAP’s Ticket from Mohali, Balwinder singh Kumbra and some other political parties’ member are now playing Dalit Card for their own political identity. Under the Balwinder Kumbra’s leadership, the joint front of “Dalit Members from political parties Congress, AAP and BSP and from various organisations, on Friday addressed the media and demanded that in every state of India, chief minister post should be mandatory reserved for ‘Dalit” candidate.
It has to be mention that these members were not ready to accept other Dalit politicians in system as they demanded fresh faces from community. “Politics and administration system ignores us from last 70 years he blamed”. Kumbra Blamed. Kumbra demanded that for 2017 elections we want Dalit CM for Punjab. Otherwise we will take help of judiciary to insure CM seat reserved for our community. Advocate Kehar Singh chairman human rights beaureo said that we are 45 per cent in the population of Punjab. Political parties cannot ignore our strength. “Political parties have to understand that we are also part of society.” says advocate kehar singh.
Interestingly, Speakers during press conference while cut down each others statements and seeking photo opportunities, demanded that they will now only support any political party who will declare CM candidate from Dalit Community. “We want declaration on paper from political parties. Otherwise we will not support any political party. ” said speakers jointly. In the meanwhile these members had no answers, when media persons questioned that is it not an indirect fielding for BSP who played Dalit Cards in every election.
