Ludhiana: It was a Tuesday morning Fortis Hospital Ludhiana Team headed out for the Brail Bhawan at Jamalpur Road. “At the entrance we noticed a group of children were talking to Principal Paramjeet Kaur. Soon they finished and proceeded to their classrooms, carefully guiding each other. We were touched to observe the spirit of care and compassion between them all. We had carried some gift for them”, said Vivan Singh Gill, Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana.
The programme was started with special “Shabad Gyan” performance by Rajwant Kaur (acid attack fighter), student of 9th class.
Gill said, “We joined the children in a music room and watched in wonder as they learned to singing. It was a great pleasure just chatting talking and spending some quality time with them. They were so young and yet seemed so strong in their outlook.”
Special Quiz contest on Nutrition Diet was organised. As many as 55 visually challenged students took part in competition to mark the National Nutrition Week at Brail Bhawan. The participants were asked question about nutrition diet, healthy food, benefits of milk among others.
The programme was held under the supervision of Dr Ankush Mehta, Medical superintendent, Sumita and Askriti Sanga, Munish and Barun, Amarjeet Kaur, Deputy Manager Fortis, Hospital Ludhiana.
Aantakshri, Singing performance and special dance activities was held for the students.
