Ludhiana:A day after the police have booked nine employees of private security company for taking away cash withdrawn for ATM machines, the police on Tuesday have arrested four persons and recovered 9 lakh. The employees of private security agency company have collected the money from various ATMs but instead depositing in bank the accused fled away with cash.
Following the complaint of Operation in charge of the Scientific Security Management Service Satinder Singh, the police have registered case against accused at police station Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar under sections 409 (Criminal breach of trust by public servant, or by banker, merchant or agent), 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC.
The accused have been identified as Anil Chopra, Radhe Shyam, Pardeep Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Sharanjit Singh, Ajay Kanojia, Gursewak Singh, Harpreet Singh Bunty and Kamaljit Singh. DCP Dhruman Nimbale said that during the investigation of case they have arrested Sharanjit Singh, Ajay Kumar, Pardeep and Kuldeep. DCP added that Rs. 8.50 lakh was recovered from Pardeep, fifty five thousand from Sharanjit Singh, fifty two thousand from Ajay Kanojia and forty eight thousand from Kuldeep. DCP said that the teams were on the job to arrest absconding accused and recovery of cash. The police have registered case and launched manhunt for the arrest of accused.DP
