Ludhiana: Pankaj Vikas Thakur, Deputy Director, Gulzar Group of institutes, Khanna, Ludhiana brought laurel to the region for conferring the award for meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role for the education and society. He is the only recipient from Punjab among 76 award holders at the event. The function held at India International Centre, New Delhi.
The award was given by the chief guest for the event, Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, Former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam and Tarek Azouz Ambassador of Tunisia to India, Syed Sibtey Razi former Governer of Assam, Dr. Dinesh Oraon Speaker of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and Joginder Singh, former Director, Central Bureau of Investigation .The dignitaries awarded Bharat Gaurav Awards to about 76 recipients from different states in the country in areas of Research, Education and Social Services.
