On Monday only a few areas in Mohali city witnessed a queue outside ATMs. Private sector banks were also out of cash but they somehow managed to refill the ATM’s after some interval.
“In the middle of rising panic that has arisen out of the government’s demonetization policy, another inconvenience is set to hit citizens. Even as serpentine queues are forming outside bank branches and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), all banks are set to remain closed in this situation. Government should order banks to remain open on Monday also as they were open in weekends” said a Retired army officer.
Almost all the markets where ATM’s are installed people used to come see the closed ATM’s returned with angry faces.
It is clearly seen that public is getting more and more frustrated day by day as it was 6th day and life has become slow. People are unable to purchase even daily needs.
