Ludhiana: City witnessed heavy rainfall from intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Water logging in different parts of city was also experienced by the residents. The rainfall made the city weather more cold and shivery, due to which city residents found hard to come out of their houses and rather preferred to remain in their rooms with the heaters on with their cozy blankets.
On February 3, the minimum temperature was 8.4 Degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 20.4 Degree Celsius. On February 4, the minimum temperature was 11.0 Degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 22.0 Degree Celsius. On February 5, minimum temperature was 13.0 Degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 20.0 Degree Celsius.
Experts of Metrological Department said in its update that there would be fog in the morning and evening time despite of decreasing cold. There is a possibility of rain on February 6 also, after that fog would appear. The weather department informed that the low pressure has been made on the region of North India, resulting in cloudy weather.
City residents are enjoying the weather despite of cold and fog. The weather made the city residents enjoy hot coffee and tea with hot snacks which made the weather worth enjoyable. The city restaurants were found busy to complete the home deliveries of the tempting snacks.
On the other side, the city doctors and experts claimed that the heart patients, asthma patients, bronchitis patients and old age people should be more careful, as fog is not good for them.
Morning walk in the foggy mornings is not at all beneficial for such individuals. So they should be more careful towards their health.
According to Meteorology Department, “The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy with possibility of thundershowers at isolated places over Ludhiana and its adjoining areas during the next 24 hours.”
