Ludhiana: Following the surgical attack by Indian Army at the terrorist launch pads along the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday, the veteran Army personnel have supported the action of Indian Army. The veterans opine that patience was over and Indian Army was left with only option.
“No doubt every problem has a solution but this time the limit has been crossed so war was the only option left for the soldiers. Their first priority is peace but if the other party is not able to negotiate then the war is the actual solution the soldiers have to take for their country and for the civilians. The actual limit is crossed after the Uri attack. Soldiers always step ahead risking their life as their first priority is to save the country.”
Major Gen. Sukhvir Singh Jawandha (Vishesh Seva Padak)
“Soldiers are the one arm for the country that are always ready to protect us and country. Punjab as a Border and Punjabi’s are always ready to face the harsh situations whatever may be the situation is. For soldiers it’s their first lesson that safety, welfare and comfort for country come first. Even at this point of time the political leaders should think first for their country leaving behind their own personal convenience. Soldiers are never diplomatic as their first serve is for their country that’s why they are called the soldiers.
Col. Harbant Singh Kahlon (Veer Chakra Vijeta)
“Pakistan as part of its state policy has been aiding, abetting and training terrorists from last more than three decades. These terrorists are working round the clock to hurt our country by targeting innocents and vital installations particularly in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. We have defeated them in Punjab; we will defeat them in J&K now. Our brave soldiers are capable to check the evil designs of Pakistan, Having seen our resolve to not allow terrorists any more to operate across the LoC, the Pakistan will now see reason and start behaving like a good neighbour.”
