Mohali: Senior Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader and candidate from Kharar rebutted the allegations levelled by the opposition leaders on AAP. He said that “corruption charges levelled against Aam Admi Party are pre-planned by opposition parties.” When asked on the charges levelled on the AAP by Harjit Singh Adaltiwal, Sandhu said that it was all due to political propaganda. He said that Adalatiwala’s background was Akali and he might have been planted in the AAP just to let down the party’s name. Sandhu was talking to media persons in Mohali on Monday
During the interaction it was announced by Sandhu that famous dairy farmer and Congress leader Sukhdev Singh Baroli has joined the AAP. It is pertinent to mentioned that Sukhdev Singh is husband of woman sarpanch of village Baroli.
“We have announced more than 100 candidates in Punjab. Many people joined us for tickets only. But now when they not get tickets they are imposing fake allegation of corruption on AAP Now.” Sandhu says. Sandhu further said that AAP would demand from Election Commission that political parties must be bond to implement their election manifesto.
Kanwar Sandhu also clarified that Balwinder Kaur Naradu’s decision to return back to the Congress was her own decision. Sandhu says it’s her own prerogative to take u-turn to the Congress from the AAP. “Her allegations on Gurpreet Ghuggi for misguiding her seems imposed under some political pressure or she may got some overwhelming promises from the Congress.” Sandhu says. “Her own credibility reflects in front of public as she takes u-turn to the congress from AAP within a week.” He added.
On the question of women reforms and woman quota he avoided given any clear reply and said that party have only distributed tickets to capable candidates only. “Sucha Singh Chhotepur did so much for the AAP. He left party in some confusion. If he remained with us it could be good for us as well as for him” He said
“We will come with absolute majority,” Sandhu claimed. Kanwar Sandhu also shows his concern on the situation of dairy farming in Punjab.
