Ludhiana: The alleged killers of sacrilege accused woman surrendered in Ludhiana court on Friday, three days after the incident.
Later, the police took the accused Gurpreet Singh of Sangrur and Nihal Singh of Patiala in custody. The court of Judicial Magistrate Lovejinder Kaur granted three day police remand of the accused.
Confirming the development, Commissioner of Police, Jatinder Singh Aulakh said that after the incident the police have made pressure and the accused surrendered in the court. Talking to ‘Daily Post’, Aulakh said that the accused were identified two hours after the murder and various teams were formed for the arrest of accused. With the action and the pressure of the police the accused surrendered in court.
During the police investigation, the motive behind the killing will be made clear, added top cop.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Tuesday morning the accused had murdered Balwinder Kaur, accused in sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Gurdwara of Village Ghawaddi. The accused had called the lady on pretext of helping her in the case and later shot her dead. Balwinder Kaur was arrested in the month of October last year. She was accused of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at gurdwara of village Ghawaddi. Kaur was released on bail in the month of December.

While moving out from the Court, Gurpreet Singh and Nihal Singh said that they have came to know that some people were collecting funds in their name. They appealed the NRI’s for to to donate money.
Gurpreet said that they have no regret of killing and their motive was revenge of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.
