Bhagwan Valmiki memorial established at Ram Tirath with Rs 250 Crore
Majitha: Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Monday welcomed the Bhagwan ValmikiJi Moorti Shoba Yatra at Majitha along with sizeable crowd of local residents. He thanked the saints and organisers for bringing Shoba Yatra to the Majitha constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Majithia said that thousands of years passed but no one cared to preserve the glory of Bhajwan Valmiki’s holy place Ram Tirath where he spent many years of his life. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal took the lead in this regard and established a memorial with Rs 250 Crore in the memory of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji. He appealed to the people to come in maximum numbers to participate in the inaugural function of Ram Tirath Memorial on December 1.
He said that CM Parkash Singh Badal has strengthened the communal harmony and peace in the state and has given a historical look to the various religious places of all religions.
He said that on the other hand some politicians are just playing dalit card for petty political gains.
He dared Kejriwal to give just one example where he has made an attempt to do something for the welfare of Dalits as Delhi Chief Minister. He further said that Kejriwal is trying to disturb peace and divide people in the name of castism due to day by day decreasing graph of the AAP in Punjab. He said that but people of Punjab are aware of Kejriwal’s such cheap tactics of divide and rule.
