Patiala: Gurtej Singh Dhillon, newly appointed chairman of the Nabha Improvement Trust (IT), after taking charge of his office at Nabha said that his main priority as the Chairman of the Improvement Trust is to develop the historic city Nabha as a model city in future and keeping a check on the work for it shall commence soon.
He said that he is going to take up this project not only with his party high command (BJP) but with the state government as well. He said that to complete this project the funds are required and it is the duty of the state government to organise the required funds for this project.
Dhillon also said that he is fully committed for the all out development of the Nabha city and he is assuring all the Nabha residents’ that the city will be developed and reshaped. Talking about his other priorities the chairman of the Improvement Trust said that main problem being faced by this city is choked sewerage system and he assures the people that the city will get a permanent relief from this problem as he is going to take up this issue with the higher officials of the Punjab Sewerage Board so that it could be rectified.
Beside he is also going to start brain- storming session with the officials of the trust to explore the possibiilties to chalk out new developmental projects for the city and claims that the people are going to see major developmental changes in the near future.
