Mohali: It was not less than a shot sequence from a Bollywood action flick when a rashly driven white colour Polo hit a parked police pilot gypsy in front of Punjab School Education Board office here this afternoon before to hit an Alto and then a Ford Figo. The gypsy which turned turtle and flipped to the other side of road hit a Creta.
The result: Miraculously and luckily no one got injured in the accident but all cars were damaged in this process that left passersby in a catch 22 situation to see this collision emotionless or to respond in their bid to escape from this.
All the cars hit by Polo and one hit by gypsy were parked as a result no one got injured. The driver of car who later identified to be a student, fled from the spot after abandoning the vehicle. Following accident, the chaos ruled the spot followed by traffic snarls. Later the police traced down the owner of Polo car who is from Payal in Ludhiana.
According to police the son of car owner is studying and residing in Dhanas. He was called up by police, where he disclosed that the driver of car was also a student and putting up along with him and other students. He took the car key when other including son of the owner of Polo were sleeping.
The police is trying to nab the driver as his mobile phone is also going switched-off. Meanwhile as all’s well that ends well, no case was registered by police after owners of damaged cars have only sought repairs of their damaged vehicles from the culprit behind it.
