Ludhiana: Only 3 days are left for 12th standard Board exams of PSEB but board and education department at local level claimed that all the arrangements have been completed to conduct the exams. With passing of the last week PSEB demanded a report on sensitive centres. An education department of every district has already sent reports on sensitive areas to PSEB through an e-mail or phone.
According to available information from board Taran Taaran, Mukatsar and Mohali, these districts has not sent their reports till the Thursday afternoon and other districts have already sent reports to board. Seven districts came out with NIL report on sensitive centres. Even Ludhiana district showed its report with no sensitive examination centres which is very astonishing. Every year during examination of 10th and 12th classes more than 2 to 3 dozen students are nabbed in the case of copying.
Chairman of PSEB Balvir Dhol expressed his views in the matter of NIL reports of sensitive examination centres. He told that the old record of districts will be checkedthat how many cases of copying were registered last year.
District Education Officer, Secondary, Sarbjeet Singh also informed that a meeting was arranged where controller and in charge of cluster were called on Thursday in which straight directions were given that no ignorance of rules will be tolerated during the examinations.
