Ludhiana: PCTE Institute of Hotel Management organised ‘Indian Regional Cuisine Super Chef Competition’. The competition was held to promote young chefs in Indian Cuisine. The competition also brings back traditional and lost recipes. Lot of dishes was prepared from all cuisines like Authentic Punjabi, Gujrati, Bengali, Rajasthani, South Indian, Kashmiri, Hyderabad’s Nizam, Lucknowi and Jodha Akhbar Cuisine.
On the occasion Neelu Kaura, Celebrity Chef, Vikas Grover, Executive Chef, Park Plaza Ludhiana and Pawan, Executive Chef, Hotel Radisson Blu was present to boost the morale of the students also they made judgment for the recipes made by the students. Neelu Kaura, Celebrity Chef said, “Judging any creative endeavor is always a subjective matter.
Prof. Anirban Gupta, Dean, PCTE – IHM said “We want to spread awareness about cooking as a promising career; the hotel industry needs more and more participants.” Gupta praised all the participants and was very happy with the efforts made by the students.
Dr. K.N.S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the organisers and the participants of the events. He further said that such events will definitely help the students in exploring their creativity.
