Ludhiana: A day after the robbers looted 8 lakh cash, and gold Jewellery after making the woman hostage in a house of Roshan Lal at Tagore Nagar, the police claimed to have crack the case with the arrest of seven persons.
The Police have recovered eight thousand cash and Scorpio car used in the crime.
The Police claimed that the conspiracy of loot was hatched by Hardeep Singh, driver of Naveen Bhatia, business partner of Roshan Lal. Hardeep Singh came to know that Rs 20 crores cash was kept in the house of Roshan Lal and hatched the conspiracy of loot with the help of accomplices.
On Wednesday afternoon, five persons entered in the house of Roshan Lal and looted eight lakh cash and jewellery after making Arpna, wife of Roshan Lal hostage. The threatened the lady with sharp edged weapons and also thrashed her.
Following the incident, the police got the CCTV footage through which the accused were identified and the registration number of their vehicle was noted down. Giving information, Commissioner of Police Jatinder Singh Aulakh said that seven persons were arrested and the teams were on job to arrest three absconding accused. The accused were identified as Hardeep Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Ranjit Singh, Harpreet Singh, Avtar Singh, Sandeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Jarnail Singh, Parvinder Singh and Sunny all residents of Dakha and Jagraon area.
