Mohali: Mohali Police recovered 19 lakh 84 thousand fake currency notes of Rs. 2000 from jagatpura. The currency recovered on the disclosure statement of kingpin Parmod Kumar who was arrested a day before in 42 lakh fake currency case.
Informing more SHO police station Sohana Hasrsimran Singh Bal said that police raided house in jagtpura on the disclosure statement of Parmod Kumar.
“During interrogation Parmod kumar speak about this currency and we recovered it. More currency can be recover in coming days.” Bal says.
It is pertinent that Mohali police arrested a main kingpin parmod Kumar in 42 lakh fake currency note case from kharar bus stand on Monday. He was produced to Mohali court on Tuesday where Honorable court has sent him to five days police Remand.
Before this police arrested three people, named abhinav sharama, vishakha verma and suman nagpal. two boys and one girl with fake currency of Rs 42 lakh of 2000Rs notes along with one Audi Q7 no. HR70U-0004.
All three were making fool of the people for exchange their currency notes at 30% Commission.
