Ludhiana: With just few months left for Vidhan Sabha elections, several singers and actors were looking forward to join Political parties but Contrary to it a Youth leader of ruling party who is also President of Student Organization of India (SOI) Meetpal Singh Dugri has taken to singing to give reply to Aam Aadmi party (AAP) for creating false propaganda regarding Punjab and Youngsters.
The song sung by Meetpal Singh Dugri which was released by Punjab deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal is widely shared on social networking sites Facebook and others. The title of the song Lalkaar- reply to Aam Aadmi Party, describes the line of the song. Lyricist Satta Gill in his song ‘Lalkar’ not only challenged AAP’s convener Arvind Kejriwal for misleading people through false propaganmda but also launched frontal attack on party’s national executive Kumar Vishwas for describing Punjabis as drug addict in his latest song.
In his song Meetpal Singh Dugri challenged the AAP leaders to visit Punjab and see the other side of coin as AAP is only defaming Punjab over drug issue. Meetpal’s song narrates that Punjabi Youths were not drug addicts and has achieved several goals at national and international level. Meetpal also challenged kejriwal for the dope test of AAp leaders and senior leader Sanjay Singh before branding Punjab youths as drug addicts. The AAP leaders should see the positive side of Punjab and stop defaming Punjab for the political motive, expressed Meetpal in his song.
Talking to Daily Post, Meetpal Singh Dugri said that he was not a professional singer but couldn’t stop him to express his feelings through song when Aam Aadmi party (AAP) is creating false propaganda. The audio of the song is released and soon the video will be released on social networking sites and television channels, added Meetpal while thanking to Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, Bikram Majithia and Parambans Singh Bunty Romana for their support.
