Earlier, transaction polices were limited to those who had accounts in post offices and other bank card users could not withdraw money from any ATM machines of the post offices.
When contacted Senior Postmaster at the Head Post Office Ludhiana, SP Pahwa informed that the Postal Department had changed the transaction policies as now anyone who had ATM cards of any bank can easily dispatch cash without any terms and conditions which is giving a big relief to the people who don’t have accounts in Post offices.

One of the residents, Raj kumar said, “I am very happy with the news of change in transaction policies as now I can easily dispatch money from my nearby ATM machine of Post
Nitika Munjal (another card holder) said, this policy shows that Postal Department is upgrading their system and now we can easily do shopping and pay electricity bill.
Lack of customer friendly facilities became the main reason behind the people not pting for using Post Offices ATMs.
