Muktsar: Some unidentified miscreants strike in the Asa Buttar Central Cooperative Bank in Muktsar and stolen Rs 4.25 lakh, on Monday morning. The incident has came to light when the bank manager visited bank in the morning. However, the bank was located in the grain market of city. While narrating the story, Rajbans Singh, bank manager said that suspicion raised from the broken windowpanes of the bank. He added that when he verified it has come to fore that the thieves entered in the bank after breaking the wall at rear side of back. However, the accused persons used gas cutter for breaking the locker and take away the case.
Soon after witnessing the broken windowpanes and lockers, the manager informed the police. While talking to media, SSP Gurpreet Singh Gill said that the police teams have been constituted to probe the matter. He added that the police are working on multiple leads and the accused will be nabbed soon.
