Sangrur: SA Ramesh Rangan, Managing Director of State Bank of Patiala on Tuesday inaugurated the new RSETI (Rural Self Employment Training Institutes)Building at Village Badrukhan, District Sangrur.Speaking on the occasion Rangan said that the objective of RSETI is to provide intensive short term self employment trainings with free food and accommodation to rural BPL youth for taking of self employment initiative upon skill up gradation, so that they are able to earn enough to lead a respectful life in society.
Rangan also announced the donation of computers for computer lab at RSETI and advised Director RSETI Sangrur to provide the training to Mudra loanee entrepreneurs also to increase the success rate. RSETI Sangrur is working since 2009 and since Inception, 2623 candidates have been imparted training, free of cost. Out of these 1620 have gained employment in their respective areas of training such ascomputer basic, computer tally, computer hardware & networking, dressdesigning, plumbing & sanitary works, dairy works, dairy farming, beauty parlors, electric wiring, mobile repairing etc. DP
