Jagraon: Jagraon MLA S R Kaler on Thursday claimed that following an unprecedented development in the state by the SAD-BJP government, the people would again elect the alliance to power and the combine would make a hat-trick of victory in state assembly elections. Kaler said this while addressing the villagers after reviewing the development works being carried out at Leelan Megh Singh village on Thursday.
He also expressed satisfaction over the development works being carried out in the village. He also informed the people about various public welfare schemes being run by the state government and asked them to take full advantage of these schemes. Later on, Kaler attended a meeting of party workers at Kaunke Kalan village near Jagraon. A large number of villagers were also present during the meeting.
While addressing the villagers, Kaler said the state government has granted huge funds for Jagraon constituency with which massive development works have been carried out during last four years. He also thanked Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for issuing regular grants for Jagraon constituency. He also promised to open a Stitching Center in the village. Meanwhile, the Akali leadership of Jagraon led by MLA SR Kaler honoured SGPC Member and Service Selection Board Member Gurcharan Singh Grewal for being elevated as coordinator for 8 constituencies in Ludhiana district.
Grewal was recently appointed coordinator for 8 constituencies in Ludhiana district by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. While thanking Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal, Grewal promised that he would continue to work with full dedication for betterment of the party. Prominent among others present during the occasion included Jagraon Market Committee Chairman Harsurinder Singh Gill, Block Samiti Jagraon Chairman Didar Singh Malak, Councilor Amanjeet Khaira, Ajit Singh Thukral, Hathur Market Committee Chairman Chand Singh Dalla.
