Ludhiana: Punjab Irrigation Minister, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon has appealed to Aam Aadmi Party leaders that they should not try to cause disrespect to the turban of Shaheed Bhagat Singh for their greed to grab power. He said that people of Punjab would never tolerate it and would teach them a lesson in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections. He termed the Aam Aadmi Party as a party of “drug addicts”.
While addressing a large number of people who had gathered at various places in Sahnewal constituency for burning the effigies of AAP leaders and MP Bhagwant Mann, Dhillon said that AAP is a party of power hungry goons, whose only motive is to grab power by using all kinds of unfair means. He said that the AAP leaders have stooped so low that they are indulging into all kinds of unfair means.
Dhillon said that on one hand, MP Bhagwant Mann ties yellow turban and claims to be a follower of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, while on the other, he as well as several other AAP leaders remain drunk all the time and make fun of poor people. He said that the AAP leaders are regularly getting caught up in cheap tactics with women.
He appealed to AAP leaders that they should not cause disrespect to the turban of Shaheed Bhagat Singh just because they want to grab power by using all kinds of unfair means. He warned that Punjabis would never tolerate it and would teach them a lesson in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections. Bhagwant Mann is suffering from casteist intoxication and that is why, he is making a mockery of people from economically weaker sections of the society as well as the Dalits. He said that these statements have not gone down well with the people and so they would teach him as well as his party a befitting lesson in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections.
