Patiala: Patiala Central Jail created a record of sorts as seven mobile phones were recovered from its premises from a single barrack and after the recovery on the complaint of the jail superintendent, a case was registered against the jail Inmates from where the mobiles were recovered.
According to information, alert guards of the Central jail on the basis of information being provided by an informer took timely action and swooped on barrack number 6 and made the recovery from the jail inmates housed there, while one mobile phone was recovered from the backside of the said barrack.
According to the complaint sent by the jail superintendent of the Central Jail to the police, one mobile phone was recovered from jail inmate Pardeep Kumar of Patiala, another from Hardeep Kumar (Patiala), one from Sanjeev Kumar (Patran), one from Somil Raj (Patiala), one from Rachpal Shmma (Patiala), one from Manjit Singh (Patran), and one BSNL SIM card from the possesion of Karnail Singh (Ambala).
