Fatehgarh Sahib: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) chief Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar on Thursday said the religious body will constitute a 31-member advisory committee of Sikhs living in foreign countries to address their problems.
He said the committee members who will be prominent Sikhs will help SGPC in dealing with issues of Sikhs in foreign countries. Prof Badungar added that the committee will help SGPC in spreading the message of Sikhism abroad.
A similar 31-member advisory council of Sikhs from various states of country will also be set up, he added.
He said one representative from each state will be taken but two representatives from those states will be taken which have large population of Sikhs.
