Fatehgarh Sahib : Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar on Sunday said the committee would open six training schools.Prof Badungar who attended bhog of Sri Akand Path at Gurdwara Jyoti Swarup here, said there is need to open training schools for ‘Raghi Singhs, Dhadis, Katha Wachaks, Kavisars, Parcharaks and Sewadars’ so six separate schools will be opened. He said proper training of Sikh maryada and other aspects will be provided in these schools.
Prof Badungar said SGPC will extend help to economically weak brilliant Sikh students in educational field. Special coaching will be provided to brilliant Sikh students for civil services exams.
On this occasion, Right to Service Commissioner Jagdeep Singh Cheema, SGPC secretary Avtar Singh Sampla, Paramjit Singh Saroya, SGPC members Karnail Singh Panjoli, Avtar Singh Riya, Ravinder Singh Khalsa, Surinder Kaur, Zila Parishad, Fatehgarh Sahib chairman Baljit Singh Bhutta, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib gead granthi giani Harpal Singh was honoured by the SGPC chief.
