LudhianaL:With the dip in temperature since intervening night of Tuesday and Thursday the temperature is decreasing with the short duration of time. On January 6, Friday, it was seen with rainfall at different time span during the whole day.
After the first five days of January month this year, the temperature has totally changed, as in the beginning of the month, the days were not so cold but the temperature was especially low in the early morning and late evening hours but residents are happy enough as dip in temperature too was needed for the any of the epidemic not to get widespread.
On January 10, the minimum temperature was 2.8 degree Celsius and with that people thought that it was the coldest night ever but by the very next day, that is by January 11, the minimum temperature was 1.6 degree Celsius which broke the record of last eight years with lowest temperature. On January 12, the temperature came at 2.2 degree Celsius till evening.
City residents welcomed the foggy day, as they were waiting for such weather this month. Some of the city residents claimed that they were waiting for such weather as they hardly get any change to dress up with the warm attires. But they further added that the dip in temperature will let the city residents to face some of problems as well. Apart from health issues, traffic troubles, road accidents will make the residents to suffer these days.
Many of the health experts claimed, “For new born babies and elderly people, the dip in temperature may cause people to face some health issues and they have to be more concerned about their health, as they both are going through a sensitive age.”
According to sources of Meteorological Centre based in Chandigarh and Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, “The weather is expected to remain cold and dry with possibility of frost during morning hours over Ludhiana and its adjoining areas during the next 24 hours.”
