Ludhiana: Under Punjab government’s Chief Minister Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme, a special train carrying pilgrims from Gill constituency to Sri Hazoor Sahib (Nanded) was flagged off by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Darshan Singh Shivalik and Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat from Railway Station, Ludhiana on Monday. This train is carrying more than 1,050 pilgrims and some government officials.
Giving information here on Monday, CPS Darshan Singh Shivalik said that the train will have around 15 coaches and would reach Nanded (Maharashtra) on the morning of May 18 and would start its journey back to Ludhiana on the night of May 19 and would reach Ludhiana Railway Station on May 21. Naib Tehsildar Rachhpal Singh would be the in-charge for this pilgrimage. CPS Shivalik stated that the Punjab government will pay for this comfortable journey enabling people to have darshan of the holy places in Nanded. DP
