Ludhiana: The protest to discuss problem on demonetisation effect coming on Bicycle and Bicycle parts industry was held in front of UCPMA, Gill Road, Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Under the leadership of Charanjit Singh Vishkarma, President, UCPMA, Manjeet Singh Khalsa, President of Plus, Gurmeet Singh Kular, Chairman (Ramgarhia Welfare Association), K K Seth, Avtar Singh Bhogal, Jaswinder Singh Birdi, Tarlochan Singh Matharoo, Inderjit Singh Navyug and Rajinder Singh Sarhali discussed on demonetistion.
Ludhiana is a Manchester of bicycle industry we are not against BJP government for demonetisation but there is crisis in India after this decision. Every person in India is disturbed from demonetisation. Most affect faced by Ludhiana bicycle industry after this decision now stands on last point of collapse.
In the protest, industrialists said that bank should increase the limit of cash withdrawal of MSME industry as per last financial year balance sheet because they can pay to labor who are working in units and they are now left to industry due to problem of cash.
Industrialist said that government should provide relief to purchase in market with Rs. 500 and 1000 note of old currency till the market become normal with new
Around 80 percent of Ludhiana bicycle industries are unorganised it will take some time for them make it well organised and now 20 to 30 percent labor left to bicycle industry and other issues related to transport are not carrying the material of industry for transportation due to demand of cash of new currency from industrialist.
So, industry demand from Government to extend time one month more till January 31,2017 for demonetisation Industrialist demand from government about to obstruct notice of IT because Industrialists are already disturbed.
