Ludhiana:The Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Murti Darshan Yatra would enter the Ludhiana district on November 23. A review meeting in this regard was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Dr Rishi Pal Singh at Bachat Bhawan, on Saturday.
]This meeting was also attended by representatives and members of various Valmiki organisations. While addressing the meeting, Dr Rishi Pal Singh informed that the Punjab government, in association with various organisations of Valmiki community is organising Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Murti Darshan Yatra.
He said that the District Administration is making the preparations for successfully organising this Yatra in Ludhiana district. He said that the Yatra would enter Ludhiana district from Jagraon side on November 23 and after night halt in the city, it would proceed towards Jalandhar the next morning on November 24. Dr Rishi Pal Singh issued necessary instructions to all the government departments who would be responsible for successfully holding this Yatra. Naresh Dhigan, National Chief Coordinator, Bharatiya Valmiki Dharam Samaj, informed that after entering the Ludhiana district from Jagraon side, the Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Murti Darshan Yatra would be accorded a grand welcome by people from all walks of life. He said that the night halt of this yatra would be at Daresi Ground, here, on November 23 and that it would proceed towards Jalandhar next morning.
Ashwani Sahota, a senior leader of BHAVADAS, stated that that in Ludhiana city, the yatra would pass through various areas. He also appealed to people from all walks of life, including political and social, to attend this yatra.
