Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar appealed to the two countries not to indulge in war as war is not a solution of everything. He said this after Indian army attacked on the bunker built by terrorists on the Pakistan border.
Prof. Badungar said that during the British period the country was divided into two nations. After that, there was a time of war between the two countries, which would have been a solution, but the loss of both the countries. He said that meeting with the two countries should address issues so that people from both countries can live peacefully.
On seizing Jagdish Tytler’s passport in the 1984 Delhi Sikh Riots, Badungar said that three days of genocide of Sikhs were brutally killed and till date justice has not been given to sikhs. He said that those responsible for the 1984 anti-Sikh massacre should be punished.
