Ludhiana : The Ludhiana Youth Congress celebrated the birthday of their leader and National Vice president of Congress party Rahul Gandhi in a unique way. The Youth Congress activists led by district President Rajiv Raja planted sapling in the different areas of the city on Sunday. While wishing birthday to Rahul Gandhi, Ludhiana youth activists takes pledge to strengthen the party and make Rahul Gandhi strong. Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Raja said that Gandhi family has contributed a lot for the nation and now Rahul Gandhi is also following the same footsteps.
Rahul Gandhi has only one aim to make the Youth stronger and motivate them to serve the country, added Raja while congratulating his political boss. Rajiv Raja further said that after planting the saplings at leisure valley and other areas of the city, the Youth congress activists will take proper care of plants. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Balbir Singh Jhammat, Sabi Toor, Gurvinderpal Twinkle, Yohgesh Handa, Gurjit Singh Seenh, Monu Khinda, Hardeep Happy, Bhuvesh Kumar, Sahil Vadhva, Baljit Singh, Pritpal Singh, Munish Sharma, Sahil Sharma, Chetan kumar, Monu Sabharwal, Lakhvir Singh,Sandeep Sharma, Rahul Garg, happy Sherpuria, Aman Bhola, Lokesh ghai, robin Singh prince, Gagandeep tinku, Parveen Garg, raghav Shukla, Arpit Sharma, Satish Sharma besides several others.
Meanwhile senior Congress leader Kulwant Singh Sidhu has also celebrated the birthday of Rahul Gandhi with poor and handicapped children in Balaji Prem ashram at Pakhowal road Ludhiana. Kulwant Sidhu said that Rahul Gandhi has the vision and thought process of taking the India ahead in the coming times. He also spent time with those kids narrating them small stories, singing songs with them and then distributing cake to the kids. Baba Kulwant Bhalla, Romy Bhalla, Rajesh khokhar, Sartaj Sidhu and many other congress workers, accompanied Kulwant Singh.
