Perarivalan, Convict in Rajiv Gandhi’s Assassination, Granted Parole

A G Perarivalan, a convict in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was granted parole on Thursday. He has been granted parole 0f 30 days for the treatment of his father, reported news agency ANI. Serving a term of life sentence, this is the first time Perarivalam was granted parole since his arrest in 1991.
